recent years, novelists from Togo to read the works give strong, original, recognized by critics and readers. Tchak Sami, the most innovative novelist, will talk about his sources of inspiration and the force that questions the reality and transcends it.
At his side, Myriam Tadesse , actor Franco-Ethiopian who published his first book.

The story is set in Mexico, Djibril Nawo, French writer of Togolese origin, plot. It arouses contempt in some, fascination and desire in others. The tone of the tragi-comedy, the author discusses the issues of social and racial inequalities, violence and sexuality are inseparable

"One day as we stroll in the neighborhood called La Zona Rosa, we saw out of a tavern, three Mexican hilarious, the same size as from a mass production. They had small senior who left uncovered their shoulders, their backs and half of their breasts. When they saw me, me, me déboulèrent above them, one taking me by the waist, the other by the arms while the third shamelessly checked with both hands, my vitals. What had excited the trio of short hike, it was obviously the color of my skin. They just wanted to see me naked. I became a toy between their hands. "


Born in 1960 in Togo, Sami Tchak lives and works in Paris. He is the author of several novels, including Place des fêtes, Hermina and Paradise Puppies .
